About the West Hill Community

West Hill United (WHU) is a community and an idea. We strive to make a positive difference in our own lives, the lives of others, and the world.  

At West Hill, rather than sharing a common doctrine, we share a common mission:

To develop, offer, and support innovative ways for people to connect with each other

 in a values-based community, for mutual care and inspiration.

Our vision for WHU is for people world-wide to have opportunities to meet in community, to nurture and share the values of love, justice, and compassion for self, others, and the planet.

Visionworks is our statement of shared values and practice. Our Visionary Leader will help the community explore and support the ideals outlined in our guiding document.

 In pursuit of our vision, we strive to engage around several key goals:

• Inspiration: Seek Truth, Live Fully, Care Deeply: Provide meaningful inspiration, challenge, connection and education.
• Engagement & Connection: Create a vibrant community for people of all ages, situations and backgrounds.
• Justice Seeking (Make a Difference): Engage the community in ways to promote justice, resist injustice, and bring about reconciliation.
• Financial Stewardship: Manage our activities in ways that ensure financial sustainability and growth.
