New York City High School Admissions Study at New York University

  • Acerca de

A key educational policy challenge facing New York City and other urban districts offering school choice is to better match low-income students to the schools that are most likely to help them graduate on-time and ready for college or future work. The goal of the NYC High School Admissions Study is to evaluate a series of decision support interventions that help low-income students at all achievement levels make more informed high school choices, with the ultimate goal of attending higher performing schools, reducing the educational impact of family disadvantage, and improving their life chances.
