Chibi Chan Preschool, a program of the Japanese Community Youth Council (JCYC), offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children 2 to 5 years old. Chibi-Chan Preschool believes in the process of developmental stages and introduces new concepts according to each child’s ability and age. The curriculum is theme based, including multicultural concepts that are explored through play, arts and crafts, cooking, music, social studies, reading, science and language development activities. The staff strives to foster independence by giving children opportunities to make decisions on their own, as well as exposing them to a diverse array of experiences to establish the foundation for future learning.
