Gerando Falcões International (GFI) is a 501(c)(3) entity organized to provide charitable giving to other nonprofits. More specifically, GFI provides charitable distributions to Instituto Gerando Falcões (IGF), a qualifying exempt organization duly registered in Brazil as a non-for-profit, that aims to eradicate poverty in the favelas (slums) of Brazil and, in a broader sense, to improve the quality of life for underprivileged individuals and families throughout that country.
Established in 2022, and headquartered in New York City, GFI has a worldwide focus and since its formation has been organizing fundraising and awareness events in London, Lisbon, New York, Miami, and the Hamptons, successfully raising over $4 million to support IGF initiatives. We are also currently actively seeking partnerships with the IBD, US Foundations, International Funds, and Companies, as well as fundraising in new markets, including the Middle East, with an event planned for Dubai in 2025
