Shreveport Green is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a healthy, sustainable, and economically vital community through public outreach, community enhancement, and a specific respect for the natural and built environment.

We work to create a vibrant, biodiverse environment where every individual can connect deeply with the natural world. Through initiatives like tree planting, sustainable agriculture, food system and agricultural support, waste reduction, litter cleanups, and environmental stewardship, we empower communities to take an active role in shaping a healthier future. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to rebuilding the essential bond between people and nature—nurturing not only our green spaces, but also a shared responsibility for the well-being of our planet.
