My name is Vincent Schilling and I am an Native American journalist and author. I have writen a series of books on positive Native American role models. This series of books "The Native Trailblazer Series" is in desperate need of getting into the hands of today's Native youth. Native Americans living on Indian Reservations today are neglected to the point of tragedy - they have the highest incidences of alcohol and drug abuse, teen pregnancy, gang involvement and incarceration.
To have positive examples of how to live right is critical. I have outlined the process of how to be a champion, a Native Trailblazer! in my books.
