    Our Mission

    CASA of Philadelphia trains and supports community volunteers to advance the welfare of children in foster care through effective advocacy. 

    CASA is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization established in Philadelphia County in 2006 with a mandate to provide screened, trained and supervised volunteers to advocate for safe, permanent and nurturing homes for abused and neglected children under the protection of Philadelphia's Family Court. The organization is part of a national network of independently run CASA organizations that utilize a proven model for improving outcomes for children in the foster care system.
