Women Partnership for Development [WPD] is pilot project of Participatory Action for Rural Development Initiative, a registered community based organization for the rural women in Uganda’s Jinja district. It was formed to specifically create a platform for the women, children and the youth for community development and to advocate for the promotion, protection and respect of human rights in their communities and to enhance their social and economic development and empowerment.
