Angel Flight East (AFE) is a non-profit, charitable organization of volunteer pilots who provide free air transportation for medical and humanitarian needs.
AFE serves clients who must manage the challenges of: debilitating health issues, accessing critical medical care far from home,and the corresponding (and often overwhelming) debt.
Pilots also provide compassion flights for personal crises, like when family members cannot afford to vist a loved one who is passing away. AFE has also responded in times national and natural disasters, including 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina.
