Afri-Tanzania Volunteers for Change (AVC) is a
youth based organisation that was created to encourage and further Community
Development in Tanzania. This development is achieved by empowering youth
through volunteering work. MISSION : To promote and
empower the youth to foster and sustain development through mounting self-esteem, advocacy and
awareness raising,Human Rights, poverty reduction, equal
education, sexual health(SRHR), environmental conservation, capacity building
and networking programs which are youth centered, gender sensitive environmental
friendly and readily accessible to vulnerable youth through facilitation,
training, seminars and workshops.VISION:Youth are take a leadership role in addressing the
most urgent problems facing their community culturally, socially and economically
through volunteering.
