The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) supports low- and middle-income students pursuing eligible, high-demand majors in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and health care, and encourages recipients to work in Washington state once they complete their degrees. In addition to financial support through scholarships, WSOS connects scholars with student-support services, professionals in their fields of study and other resources on their campuses and in their communities to help them complete their degrees and successfully transition to their careers.
