EVC has won hundreds of awards including an Emmy, and was presented the JVC President's Award at JVC headquarters in Tokyo, and the prestigious President's Committee's Coming Up Taller award at the White House. EVC youth documentaries have been featured on NBC's Today Show, CNN, ABC, PBS, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, Sundance Film Festival, and the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival in New York and in London.
