The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is the voice of the U.S.standards and conformity assessment system. A private, non-profit organization, ANSI oversees the creation, promulgation and use of thousands of norms and guidelines that directly impact businesses in nearly every sector, and represent the needs and views ofU.S.stakeholders in standardization forums around the globe. Our membership is comprised of businesses, professional societies and trade associations, standards developers, government agencies, and consumer and labor organizations. We represent the diverse interests of more than 125,000 companies and organizations and 3.5 million professionals worldwide.
