The Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) is an educational nonprofit that introduces seekers to the contemplative Christian path of transformation.
Founded in 1987 by Franciscan Richard Rohr, our mission is to introduce Christian contemplative wisdom and practices that support transformation and inspire loving action.
We are passionate about growing as professionals in pursuit of the CAC’s mission while remaining grounded in our values of humility, simplicity, truthfulness, and solidarity. We invite all who join our team to practice our core belief that “the best criticism of the bad is the practice of the better,” and to engage challenges and opportunities with an open and creative mind. We welcome and value diversity of age, race, ethnicity, faith tradition, gender and sexual identity, and disability status, and we provide employees with competitive compensation and generous benefits.
