Founded in 1978, the Buddhist Peace Fellowship (BPF) serves as a catalyst and agent for socially engaged Buddhism. Our aim is to help beings liberate themselves from the suffering that manifests in individuals, relationships, institutions and social systems.
Through our programs, publications and practice groups BPF takes a progressive stance on militarism, disarmament, the death penalty, the prison industrial complex and environmental and human rights while offering a compassionate and nonviolent presence for social change.
