The Valerie Fund treats more than 5,000 children with cancer and blood disorders annually throughout the state of New Jersey, in New York City, and and the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. In addition to medical treatment, the seven strategically located Valerie Fund Children's Centers provides a wide array of psychosocial services, including social work, educational support, integrative medicine, clinical psychology, etc. to promote a child's continued emotional and social development during and after treatment. The Valerie Fund also operates Camp Happy Times, a free one-week camp overnight camp experience for children who have or have had, cancer. Nearly 200 children enjoy swimming, fishing, arts & crafts and the fun of just being kids.
