CMI is a non-profit organization founded by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and former President of Finland Martti Ahtisaari in 2000. CMI focuses its efforts on conflict resolution and contributes to the achievement of sustainable peace in the framework of regional programmes in the countries of Eastern Europe and Caucasus, Middle East and Africa.
