Public Services International (PSI) is an international federation of public sector trade unions with over 650 affiliated unions in 150 countries organising about twenty million members.
We work on all obvious public sector issues - federal/national government, regional/municipal government, public utilities (water, gas, energy) and health services, including work on public sector reform, privatisation, etc.
We represent our affiliates at international fora - the ILO, the OECD, in work at/on the World Bank, the World Trade Organisation, UNCTAD, etc.
We do most of the things you expect a trade union to do. We operate in English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Swedish. Our head office is in France, on the Swiss border with Geneva.
