    The Division of Integrated Biodefense (DIB) was formed in response to the overwhelming national need for comprehensive monitoring of biological threats, both domestically and abroad. These threats, either natural or manmade, directly threaten our nation's food supply, health, and well-being. A component of the Imaging Science and Information Systems (ISIS) Center at Georgetown University, the DIB is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of people with backgrounds in medicine, remote sensing, history, information systems, software engineering, political science, biology, sociology and anthropology.
