Dunnaville for Chesterfield Circuit Court

I'm Peter Dunnaville, and I'm running as a democrat for Circuit Court Clerk in Chesterfield County, Virginia. In Virginia the Circuit Court Clerk is charged with over 800 statutory duties. These duties are civil and criminal and this means that every citizen of Chesterfield will at some point need the service of their clerk’s office. It is important that the clerk have training in the law.

I am a long-time resident of the County and I have the experience and credentials that are essential to operating effectively and efficiently as Chesterfield's next Circuit Court Clerk. I have experience working as a Virginia Magistrate, an Administrative Law Judge, and for Google. I also have lengthy experience in civil law in a variety of roles within law firms and within Government.

After graduating from Clover Hill High School in Midlothian, I attended the University of Virginia as an undergraduate earning a B.A. in History, and the College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law School, for my J.D. degree. I also earned a Masters of Law degree (L.L.M.) from Golden Gate University, School of Law.

My education, work experience and roots in the community make me the most qualified candidate to be Chesterfield’s next Circuit Court Clerk.
