The mission of Helping Our Women is “To educate, empower and support women as they cope with chronic and life threatening illnesses.” The core support services provided by HOW in the four towns of Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown MA are financial assistance Program and transportation to medical and related activities, complimented by a food pantry of dry and canned goods, fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy products, periodic peer-led support groups, and advocacy and referral to other community helping agencies. HOW also provides information, referrals and advocacy to all community members.
