Hillcrest is a nonprofit Life Plan Community nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountain Range in La Verne, California. Hillcrest was established in 1947 to care for older adults and has for nearly 75 years accomplished its mission to “to serve and enrich the lives of older persons” in unique and creative ways. Today approximately 400 older adult residents live on its 50 acre campus in various levels of living and care. Hillcrest also serves the community at large and launched the Center for Older Adult Community Health. It was founded by a local faith community, but now stands alone as a nonprofit with strong core values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Stewardship. Its culture is warm, friendly and inclusive of all.
