MADRAS MEDICAL MISSION (MMM)

The Madras Medical Mission (MMM) hospital system based at Chennai in Tamilnadu, India is dedicated to the care of the sick and promotion of health, transcending the barriers of religion, nationality, social position or financial status.

Inspired by the missionary zeal of the late Metropolitan Zachariah Mar Dionysius of blessed memory, and strengthened by the devotion and commitment of the members of the Malankara Orthodox Christian community at Chennai (India) who promoted the registered charitable society in 1982, the Madras Medical Mission strives to participate in the healing ministry by seeking to foster an environment of caring, compassion and love that enables it to respond to patient needs in enviable ways.

From its modest beginnings two decades ago the synergy of proficient practitioners, prudential management and providential guidance has metamorphosed the Madras Medical Mission into an organization of excellence that promotes some of the finest super-specialty medical institutions in the country, including a medical college (PIMS - Pondicherry), with superlative infrastructure, leading edge technology and accomplished professionals.
