    In 1955, a group of Oak Ridge and Clinton parents, wanting a better world for their children with disabilities, embarked on a journey that ultimately led to the establishment of what is now known as Emory Valley Center (EVC). The journey continues through enhancement and expansion of services that promotes a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and growth.
