Ala Costa Centers Adult Program is looking for motivated people interested in making an impact in their communities and offers a fantastic opportunity to start building a career as an educator.

Teachers instruct creatively and intentionally in a community-based adult transition and adult day program for people with disabilities.

Job Responsibilities encompass instruction in areas of independent living skills [i.e. cooking, money management, travel training. etc.], community integration, and vocational skills. Our overarching goal is to decrease dependence while learning in the least restrictive environment. Prospective employees believe in the importance of the concepts of self-determination, person-centered programming, and student agency. Ongoing training is provided in all of these areas.
