Our model, designed by teachers for teachers, delivers one-on-one professional learning and resources for teachers and constructs outdoor learning labs for schools. Together, we take the classroom outside so every student, regardless of race, gender, or zip code can experience the wonder of science and realize their potential to build the future that should be.

    The Opportunity:

Out Teach has embarked on an ambitious new phase of growth and is looking for a Manager of Philanthropy to support the Associate Vice President, Philanthropy (AVPP) to grow, cultivate, steward, and renew Out Teach’s portfolio of philanthropic funders to fuel the operations and growth of the organization. The person in this role will directly manage an assigned portfolio of funders with direct revenue goals and will also be responsible for supporting Out Teach’s overall philanthropy portfolio, including managing research, prospecting, cultivation and stewardship, administrative and philanthropy operations, donor data, and other duties as assigned by the AVPP.

The ideal candidate will help drive growth and manage relationships with funders through relationship building, cultivation, and stewardship. The Manager, Philanthropy ensures an excellent funder experience, supports pre- and post-award grant functions, and stewards funders throughout the partnership to meet renewal goals. This person should be an excellent operator who is intellectually curious and a results-oriented problem-solver. This person should also be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth organization, and brings a collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to get things done.
