Making Caring Common seeks a part-time (14 hours per week) Digital Marketing Manager to support projects across the organization and to raise the visibility of MCC’s work nationwide.
Making Caring Common's Marketing Manager has primary responsibility for the strategic development, management, and day-to-day operation of MCC's digital channels, including a range of social media profiles, the project's website, and monthly email newsletters. They will also work to promote MCC programs and initiatives and to support MCC efforts to recruit schools and families for MCC initiatives. They will report to the Faculty Director.
In alignment with MCC's goals, the Marketing Manager creates and executes an annual strategic plan for MCC's digital channels and maintains a project-wide editorial calendar. They also collaborate with all members of the MCC team, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to develop and disseminate creative, timely, and message-driven content that helps advance strategic goals and priorities and increase the visibility and impact of the project. To expand the reach and impact of messaging and content, the Marketing Manager keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices; analyzes the performance of content, campaigns, and digital channels; and oversees analytics reporting. They also oversee the development and launch of new channels as needed and day-to-day technical troubleshooting.
Benefits are not available for this position. Pay is $65 - 75hr, depending on skills and experience. Position can be remote or hybrid in our Cambridge, MA office.
