The CollegeBound Foundation is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a CollegeBound Foundation Early College Awareness and Training Assistant. This position plays a vital role in supporting our mission to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful transition from high school to college. The Early College Awareness and Training Assistant will assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of college readiness programs and training initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for program delivery, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant registration.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of college readiness programs and training materials for students, parents, and educators.
- Collaborate with the Director of Training and Early College Awareness to develop training resources, presentations, and activities that effectively deliver program content.
- Prepare regular reports on program activities, participant feedback, and program effectiveness.
- Assist the Early College Awareness department with preparation and execution of college and career tours
- Prepare regular reports on training activities, participant feedback, and program effectiveness
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Training and Early College Awareness, including scheduling meetings, organizing program materials, and managing communication with stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining program documentation, including participant records and evaluation forms.
- Maintaining budgets, receipts and invoice information.
- Assist with new hire onboarding responsibilities in conjunction with human resources.
- Collaborate with the Director of Training and Early College Awareness to ensure program compliance with funding requirements and reporting.
- Maintain meeting requests, booking resource rooms, hotels and coordinating schedules.
- Assist with all aspects of training preparation including presenter confirmation and follow up emails, prepping and posting slides and catering.
- Assist with any other departmental communications including electronic newsletters and social media in conjunction with the Communications Associate.
- Perform other duties as required
