Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Development at the School of the Arts, the Manager of Development Operations leads the operational aspects of the fundraising activity of the School of the Arts and provides administrative support to the Associate Dean. The incumbent manages research, stewardship, database management and entry, gift processing, event production, inter-departmental coordination and development office budget and finance. This individual will act as the key liaison for the department, on behalf of the Associate Dean, with the School of the Arts' Office of Finance, the University's Office of Endowment Compliance, the Office of Alumni and Development department of Gift Systems, and the University's Office of Sponsored Projects Administration. In addition, the incumbent is the main point of contact with the School of the Arts’ four Directors of Academic Administration (in Film, Theatre, Visual Arts and Writing) in matters of stewardship of restricted and unrestricted gifts and endowments.
