    The Chicago Immigration Court is administered by the U.S. Department of Justice's Executive Office for Immigration Review. The Court primarily decides whether foreign-born individuals, who are charged by the Department of Homeland Security with violating immigration law, should be ordered removed from the United States or should be granted relief or protection from removal and be permitted to remain in this country. Forms of relief or protection from removal adjudicated by the Court include asylum, withholding of removal, protection under the Convention Against Torture, and cancellation of removal.
