The Austin Independent School District is seeking twelve VISTAs for the implementation of a multiple-year volunteer program to develop a robust infrastructure providing a greater capacity to serve our at-risk students living in communities affected by poverty. The infrastructure includes a baseline assessment of dropout prevention, college readiness, attendance initiatives and community social & mental health agencies that operates within the district.
