The Mayor’s
Innovation Delivery Team was established in 2011 to develop powerful solutions
to major urban challenges. The team has been charged with developing innovative
solutions to: 1) improve public safety
by reducing the murder rate; 2) increase economic
opportunity for disadvantaged job seekers; and 3) reduce overuse of local incarceration.
