Founded in March 2012, ATR Consulting (ATR) is an Afghan woman-founded, owned, and led research and capacity development firm registered in Afghanistan and the UAE. ATR provides research-based solutions for clients seeking to operate in fragile and conflict-affected environments. Since its founding, ATR has grown to a team of 43 full-time Afghan and international experts. The firm has past experience working in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan and maintains strong networks of contacts in each province. In addition to its activities in Afghanistan, ATR has implemented research projects for UN agencies in the wider Central and South Asian neighbourhood.
