C-tau

The Critical Technical Assistance Unit (C-tau) is a team focused on supporting housing crisis systems throughout the United States. Over the past 20 years, C-tau's principles have developed insights and expertise executing rapid systems change. The team is comprised of mission-driven professionals with decades of experience operating steady-state human services and housing program portfolios at the national, state, and local levels. During deployment, our team swiftly establishes situational awareness, identifies system and resource requirements, and implements change inside highly dynamic environments.

The members of the C-tau team have been involved in addressing some of the biggest natural and public health disasters of the last two decades. Currently, C-tau is focused on Afghan Refugee Resettlement. In 2022, the team was selected by California to support housing Afghan refugees throughout the state.
