Cook Associates Consulting is a sole proprietorship management consulting business started when Lucy Cook left the national community development intermediary NeighborWorks America to specialize in consulting to small and medium sized not-for-profit organizations. Lucy’s experience in the non-profit industry with special emphasis on the community development, historic preservation, and urban green space segments of the industry has spanned three decades. Operating as a specialist in organizational and resource development, Cook Associates Consulting provides services designed to support organizations in all aspects of developing the resources needed to sustain their mission.

Currently, Cook Associates is conducting a search on behalf of Buffalo NY collaborative for a Project Manager to be the primary staff engaged in the implementation and institutionalization of innovative joint venture, Buffalo Community Opportunities Management Enterprises (BCOME), consisting of a management services organization (MSO) which will offer shared back-office services for non-profits as well as serve as the administrative shell for the Buffalo Technology Skills Acquisition project (BTSA) which will provide technology skills training and job placement for underserved post-high school populations. Successful candidates will have Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) , 5-10 years management experience, extensive knowledge of non-profit community, as well as experience in program planning, financial control and organizational development.
