    Job Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

    • Entering cash receipts

    • Billing and monitoring of Accounts Receivable aging

    • Entering expenditures, bill payment with the monitoring of Accounts Payable aging

    • Assisting with grant management to include proper allocations of income and expenses

    • Month end reporting including account reconciliations

    • Processing of payroll and payroll changes

    • Assist with monthly preparation of financial reports

    • Assisting with budget preparations modules

    • Assisting with annual audit schedules and other compliance reports

    • Year-end reporting to include 1099 processing and proper cut off for AP and AR transactions.

    • Forming and maintaining relationship with clients

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in preferably in accounting or business

    • 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience is required

    • Detail oriented and takes pride in the accuracy of work performed

    • Experience working with QuickBooks Online is preferred. Experience working with Sage Intacct is an added bonus

    • Familiarity with non-profits and how they operate and differ from other businesses is a bonus

    • Great communications skills and reliable

    • Must have ideal working conditions to work remotely from home. Internet connection and a quiet space.
