    Job Overview:

    The Disaster Relief Education Program Developer is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing an innovative disaster relief and recovery curriculum for high school students. This role involves collaboration with educational experts, emergency response professionals, and community leaders to design a program that not only educates but also empowers students to take active roles in disaster preparedness and response initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Curriculum Development: Design comprehensive educational materials focused on disaster preparedness, emergency response, and recovery techniques suitable for high school students.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with local emergency services, disaster relief professionals, and community organizations to ensure the curriculum is realistic, practical, and grounded in current best practices.
    • Training and Workshops: Organize and deliver training sessions, workshops, and simulations for students to practice and apply their knowledge in controlled, safe environments.
    • Program Evaluation: Continuously assess and refine the program based on feedback from students, educators, and program partners to enhance its effectiveness and engagement.
    • Outreach and Advocacy: Promote the program within schools and the broader community to increase awareness and participation.
    • Resource Management: Secure, manage, and allocate resources needed for program implementation, including educational materials, guest speakers, and venue arrangements.
