    Treasurer/CFO

    ABG Special Education Consulting Board of Directors

    ABG Special Education Consulting is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our Board of Directors!

    About the Board

    The Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding ABG Special Education Consulting's mission to empower parents and caregivers of children with special needs. Board members provide strategic direction, ensure good governance, and contribute to the organization's sustainability and growth.

    Available Positions

    • President/Chairman
    • Secretary
    • Treasurer/CFO

    General Responsibilities

    All Board Members will share the following responsibilities:

    • Attend quarterly Board meetings and participate actively in discussions and decision-making.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan.
    • Oversee the organization's governance and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Serve as an ambassador for ABG Special Education Consulting in the community.
    • Participate in fundraising initiatives to support the organization's mission.

    Treasurer/CFO

    • Provides financial oversight and guidance to the Board.
    • Oversees the development and monitoring of the organization's budget.
    • Works with the Executive Director to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
    • Experience in finance and/or accounting is highly preferred.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong financial analysis and accounting skills.
    • Experience in non-profit financial management (preferred).
    • Understanding of fundraising and grant management (a plus).
    • Passion for ABG Special Education Consulting's mission.
