    Description

    The Role

    We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Grant Writing Volunteer to join our team! In this part-time, remote position, you will play a vital role in securing funding to support our mission.


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct in-depth research to identify grant opportunities aligned with our educational initiatives.
    • Assist in developing compelling grant proposals that showcase our impact and future goals.
    • Gather and analyze data to strengthen the foundation and effectiveness of our grant applications.
    • Proofread and edit grant proposals for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to specific guidelines.
    • Learn from experienced grant writers and gain valuable insights into the non-profit fundraising landscape.


    Qualifications:

    • Strong research and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • Excellent grammar and proficiency in APA or Chicago citation styles (preferred).
    • A demonstrated interest in education, social justice, and the non-profit sector.
    • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently.


    Bonus Points:

    • Previous experience with grant writing or research.
    • Familiarity with educational grant funding sources.
    • Understanding of non-profit organizations and their funding needs.
