The Georgia Radio Reading Service is a long established well known nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, serving the state of Georgia. Our recordings of newspapers (statewide and national), books and magazines are broadcast throughout the state, serving people with visual impairment. We broadcast 24 hours every day and we have more than 200 volunteers. Recordings may be completed from your home with a special computer program or at our Atlanta Midtown studios. Please note that there is a two-step auditioning process and volunteers learn to edit their own recordings. Programs may be recorded during weekdays and the weekend. To register and for more information, see our website: garrs.org or contact cbrumer@garrs.org. Thank you!
