Board Chair: Communications

    Description

    The Communications Chair is responsible for ensuring clear and concise communications that accurately represent the FFL brand and mission, working closely with other board members and volunteers to ensure consistent messaging. 

    Main Duties

    The main duties of this role/committee include: 

    • Attend monthly board meetings
    • Newsletter: Compile quarterly newsletter content and photos, formatting newsletters (mailchimp)
    • Website: General oversight, compiling edits or updates
    • Blog posts/articles - expanded newsletter articles, article requests from other board members, etc
    • Co-managing communications committee volunteers in coordination with Social Media Chair (as below)
    • Works with Fundraising Chair to help plan and integrate fundraising content into newsletter 
    • Oversight of outreach/marketing development 

    Additional Duties 

    The work I do in support of Farms for Life outside my committee is: 

    • Tabling/Outreach
    • Event promotion
    • Fundraising 



    Average Monthly Volunteer Hours: 10-15

    Commitment: 1 year
