    Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues. 

    Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship manageEWGRIYPment, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.  

    Our mission is to teach SEL at every school in the country.     Resilience offers volunteer programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement


    We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a Sales volunteer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about VR specifications and functionalities, develop a sales strategy, identify marketing opportunities, deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations, track sales targets, and analyze industry trends. This opportunity provides valuable experience in sales, marketing, and the exciting field of virtual reality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Thoroughly learn VR specifications and functionalities to effectively inform potential customers.
    • Assist in developing a comprehensive sales strategy and setting sales targets.
    • Identify marketing opportunities and generate sales leads through research and outreach.
    • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
    • Track sales targets and document sales performance metrics to assess progress.
    • Analyze and research industry trends to ensure competitiveness in the market.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and support each other's efforts.
    • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals.
    • Attend 2-3 weekly remote meetings to provide updates and discuss strategies.
    • Utilize advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
    • Continuously enhance your understanding of VR gaming and related technologies.

    Requirements:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with potential customers.
    • Ability to learn and understand VR specifications and functionalities in detail.
    • Basic understanding of virtual reality gaming (preferred but not required).
    • Experience in marketing, sales, or a similar field (preferred but not required).
    • Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies and their application in a business setting.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying sales opportunities.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
    • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a passion for sales and technology.

    Please note that this is an volunteer position designed to provide practical experience in VR sales and marketing. As a VR Sales volunteer, you will have the opportunity to develop valuable sales skills, gain industry knowledge, and contribute to the growth of our organization in the exciting field of virtual reality.
