    Construction and Renovation Work in Summer Break

    Construction and Renovation work for building and construction projects and use all your practical skills for a good cause. Construction and renovation work projects in Nepal need the helping hands of volunteers to provide support to locals. A natural talent for practical work, a positive attitude and a hands-on mentality is all that’s needed. In Nepal, many community services and infrastructure projects tend to be under-resourced and difficult to complete on a limited budget. Volunteers can provide vital help to get these projects finished so the community can make use of them as quickly as possible. This project focuses on construction and renovation work As a Construction and Renovation volunteer you will help with projects in schools, community learning centres, childcare centres, other educational facilities and on infrastructure projects in the areas in and around Kathmandu, Pokhara and Salleri etc. Volunteer tasks can include:

    • Building
    • Renovating
    • Painting
    • Restoration
    • Carpentry
    • Landscaping
    • Stone paving etc.

    Construction and Renovation Work Highlights:

    • Travel to Nepal and help construct a school, community centre or library for rural and semi-rural communities.
    • Experience working independently or as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
    • Enjoy optimum flexibility in your program duration, which could be one week or more weeks.
    • Spend 1 or more weeks in rural or urban Nepal and immerse in the local culture.
    • Contribute to community building, awareness and educational activities.
