    We are seeking a passionate and experienced Public Relations (PR) professional to join our team as a volunteer. This role is crucial in helping us increase our visibility, promote our mission, and engage with our community effectively. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in media relations, content creation, and strategic communication to support our goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets. Craft and distribute press releases, and pitch stories to highlight our mission and impact.
    • Content Creation: Create compelling content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and the FBF website. Develop stories and case studies that illustrate the success and impact of our programs.
    • Social Media Management: Assist in managing our social media accounts by creating engaging posts, monitoring interactions, and growing our online community.
    • Event Promotion: Promote FBF events through various channels to increase attendance and awareness. Develop promotional materials and coordinate media coverage for events.
    • Crisis Communication: Provide support in managing communication during any crises or sensitive situations, ensuring that our messaging is consistent and positive.
    • Strategic Planning: Work with our team to develop and implement effective PR strategies that align with our mission and goals.
