Journey Forward Mentoring (formerly Leadership Forward) supports students of color from low-income households in Dallas who are historically underrepresented in higher education, through one-on-one mentoring and programming that is specifically focused on college and career readiness. Students are each matched with a local adult volunteer who helps them think boldly about their future and provides them with the tools they need to be successful following graduation.
Students in grades 9-12 begin their journey with us through our High School Mentoring Program called Next Gen. We continue to work with our students once they graduate through our Edge program, a postsecondary bridge program.
