Warm Springs Natural Area

  • About Us

Warm Springs Natural Area is seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the outdoors and thrive on educating others. Purchased by the Southern Nevada Water Authority in 2007, our mission is to manage the property as a natural area for the benefit of native species and for the recovery of the endangered Moapa dace. This 1,250-acre property features more than two dozen bubbling springs, rushing streams and lush wetlands. It is also home to 28 sensitive species and more than 200 species of birds. Come help educate visitors at our public use area and teach others about its rich history, current biological, ecological, and archaeological efforts, and see why Warm Springs is known as a lush wetland oasis in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
