    ámaxa is an online platform that connects our users to real problems at global nonprofits. Our flagship program is the ámaxa student impact program, a one-of-a-kind leadership program for high school students. We match students with a real problem and connect them with an ámaxa mentor who guides them to solve the problem over 4-5 months. We currently have 13 nonprofit partners, and our first batch of students are already working to provide resettled Afghan refugees in Colorado with home furnishings, create remote juggling workshops for students in rural Palestine, and raise funds for hundreds of solar powered lights for grandmothers in Uganda.
