    International Friends School is an independent Quaker Friends School that emphasizes three strong departures in education. We begin our biliteracy journey in Mandarin-English with our preschool class as we believe in the sensational neural adaptability of the brain in early childhood. We are also an early adopter of the balanced year calendar, allowing children to learn joyfully and consistently over 190 days of the school year. We are a Friends School, the first in WA. state, because we believe that character education is tantamount to embracing challenges, becoming a world citizen, and living a life that matters.
