    Washington State Cheesemakers Association (WASCA) was founded in 2015. Our mission is to support Washington cheese through education, promotion, and collaboration among its members and partners.

    WASCA is a Washington nonprofit corporation doing business as a tax-exempt business league or trade association under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.

    Washington's cheese industry is thriving with currenlty 70 licensed cheesemakers in the state. Artisan and Farmstead creameries are connecting with their communities inviting educational tours and information about how cheese is made, where your local food comes from and sustainabiity of small farms.
