Women's Organisation in Rural Development (WORD) is a registered NGO working for the upliftment of the rural people especially women and children based at Namakkal District in Tamilnadu, India. Established in 1988, WORD has been implementing various programs on health, education, environment and development with various developmental partners around the world. .
WORD primarily works in Namakkal District and partly in Erode and Salem districts in Tamilnadu, India.
